Be smart be safe

To help older and vulnerable people to stay safe, local agencies including the Council, the Police and health services have put together a leaflet that shares important information and hints about staying safe.

The handbook brings together useful information and numbers to call for different services, all designed with older and vulnerable peoples' health and welfare in mind.

Older people helped us to make the handbook by telling us what's important later in life. It covers topics like fire safety, what to do about nuisance neighbours and personal safety both in the home and in the community.
