Aiming High enhanced Lead Professional (AHELP)
A team of four workers who provide close support to families where the child or children have disabilities and who need someone to help them on a regular basis. This can be through looking at what help the family need and getting the care arrangements in place, then making sure that they make a difference. Or they might spend time with the family to help them manage all the things that make life difficult. The workers cannot take the difficulties away but often, with their experience and knowledge they will know what works and be able to help make things a little easier.
