Route and service details

The service operates from Coypool to Exeter Street (Jurys Inn), Charles Street (Drake Circus), Mayflower Street, Western Approach, Union Street, Royal Parade (stop A12), The Viaduct (stop B1) then non-stop to Coypool.

The Coypool park and ride service starts at 6.30am (Monday to Saturday excluding bank holidays) and is numbered PR2. It operates non-stop to the city centre. The last bus from Royal Parade back to Coypool is at 6.33pm.

The service does not operate on Sunday or bank holidays, however the site is open on these days for dog walkers, ramblers and cyclists visiting Saltram and the Plym Valley Trail. As there will be no attendants present on these days height barriers with a 2.1 metre headroom have been installed to prevent possible abuse of the site.

From the A38 westbound:

• Take the A374/B3416 exit toward Plympton/Kingsbridge/A379
• At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Plymouth Rd/B3416 heading to Plympton/Newnham
• Turn left onto Coypool Road
• Take the second left to Coypool park and ride

From the A38 eastbound

• Take the exit toward Newnham/Valley Road Industrial Estates
• Merge onto The Parkway/A374
• At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Plymouth Road/B3416 heading to Plympton/Newnham
• Turn left onto Coypool Road
• Take the second left to Coypool park and ride

Fares

• Adult single: Coypool to city centre - £2.05
• Adult return to city centre - £2.20
• Adult 10 return journey ticket - £19
• Family return (maximum of five people, no more than two adults) - £4.50

Fares apply all day. There are no peak and off peak fares.
