Sutton Harbour
In July 2008 after a lot of discussions and consultation with the local community the Sutton Harbour Area Action Plan was adopted. The vision is: 'To consolidate and develop the Sutton Harbour area as an attractive and sustainable mixed-use city quarter, creating a unique, high quality environment that will attract investment and new residents'.
So two years later what is happening?
Salt Quay House
Construction of a seven storey building accommodating shops, financial and professional services, restaurants and/or cafes and business uses. This was completed in 2009. Salt Quay House won Building of the Year in the prestigious Regional Commercial Property Awards.

Exeter Street site planning statement
This statement has been put together by the planning department to show what could happen on the sites to the north of Exeter Street. This is an area where the AAP says there is an opportunity for tall buildings and it is hoped that this statement will encourage investment in this part of the city.
Delivering Change Event
On 21 July 2010 an open invitation event was held at the Roland Levinsky Building. This event was organised to promote what has been happening in Sutton Harbour and the changes which are being made. The display panels which were at the event are available below:
