Construction information

While all major engineering works were completed as of 1 November 2011, some final public realm work on Embankment Road, such as pavement improvements and bus lane surfacing, will be ongoing until March 2012 to add the finishing touches to the scheme.

Some of these further works will require lane or road closures so they can take place effectively and safely. Where possible we will always have one lane available to traffic and, where closures are necessary, clear diversion routes will be signposted. If works are likely to affect you specifically, we will contact you directly by letter and through the local media.
