Phase 1 public consultation
Eastern Corridor Major Scheme phase 1 transport options
Phase 1 consultation for the Eastern Corridor High Quality Public Transport (HQPT) Major Scheme was carried out in July and August 2008.
All properties within the major scheme area received a brochure explaining the background to the scheme and the transport ideas that have been developed so far, encouraging homeowners and businesses to contact us with their views and become involved in the development of the scheme.
A questionnaire was also included to give people the opportunity to comment on the transport options.

Brochure [1.2MB] Questionnaire [46.6KB]A number of exhibitions were also held across the city and in Devon. All exhibitions were staffed by Plymouth City Council and Devon County Council officers who were available to answer questions.

The purpose of the Phase 1 consultation was to receive comments, questions and issues from anyone interested in or affected by the proposals.
The closing date for the consultation was 29 August 2008.
Eastern Corridor consultation reports
The Eastern Corridor consultation report (Part A) explains the background, development and aims of the Eastern Corridor Major Scheme and the key elements for creating a High Quality Public Transport (HQPT) service. The report explains the consultation methodology used and presents the survey results and analysis by the area of the Eastern Corridor they relate to and by the major themes identified.
The consultation feedback and response report (Part B) discusses the recommendations and key themes made in the Part A report and provides a response from Plymouth City Council to the main issues raised during the consultation.
