The City of Plymouth (A3790 Embankment Lane Link Road) Compulsory Purchase Order 2009

Plymouth City Council, with a view to progressing the East End Transport Scheme and more specifically the construction of a new link road connecting Embankment Road and Laira Bridge Road ('the Scheme'), made a compulsory purchase order ('the Order') on 23 December 2009.

The Order was confirmed by the Secretary of State for Transport on 24 November 2010 following the holding of a Public Inquiry in June 2010.  You can download a copy of the Decision Letter and the Inspectors Report from the documents table below.

The Council of the City of Plymouth (A3790 Embankment Lane Link Road Classified Road) (Side Roads and Other Works) Order 2009

In conjunction with the Order the Council made a Side Roads Order on 22 December 2009.

The Side Roads Order was confirmed by the Secretary of State for Transport on 24 November 2010 following the holding of a Public Inquiry in June 2010.

All the documents referred to can also be inspected at First Stop, Plymouth City Council, Civic Centre, Plymouth. PL1 2AA between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday and at East End Resource Centre, 4a Cattedown Road, Prince Rock, Plymouth, PL4 0AY between 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
