Analysis of equality monitoring

People who made comments in response to consultation events held during the year or who took part in the Planning Service annual survey of customer satisfaction were encouraged to complete equality monitoring forms. The results show that:

• Those aged under 30 were significantly under-represented. However involvement with the schools has ensured that the views of young people about our planning documents have been heard.
• People from ethnic minorities have also been under-represented in our planning surveys/consultations.
