Dedication and commitment

Each year the city celebrates the work of Plymouth governors with the Governors' Awards.

2011 award winners are listed below.

The Governor Development Team welcomes nominations from any governor by May of each year.

30 years and over

Outstanding services to school governing bodies

An award was given to recognise the work of governors who have supported governing bodies through periods of immense challenge. The recipients are chosen by the Local Authority for their outstanding achievements.
