Hoe Area Action Plan

The City Council's vision for The Hoe is to enhance the civic focus of The Hoe, improve its links to surrounding areas and promote its tourism, leisure and residential functions.

This Area Action Plan will set out land use policies and proposals to balance the needs of the local community with tourism, in the context of the area's historic environment.

Where we are

We completed the Issues and Options stage in March 2005, the timescale for the preparation of the Council's preferred options for the Hoe has been revised, please see the Local Development Scheme Revised timetable 2008 for details.
