Family friendly in Plymouth city centre

Plymouth City Centre is a family friendly place to visit, shop and have fun. Our child safe shopping scheme helps families, schools, clubs and most importantly children.

Free wristbands

A mobile number on a wristband is the simplest and quickest way to reunite a lost child. These free wristbands are bright, waterproof and tough.

The wristbands are available in the Disney Store, the Armada Centre, Plymouth Market, Build-a-Bear, Drake Circus and all stores displaying the child safe sticker.

Window stickers

Bright orange balloon window stickers carry the safety number 08700 62 12 49, that puts people quickly in touch with our security control room.

Teach your child to look for the orange balloon and window stickers, if they get lost or need help.

Designed to help

• Parents or guardians who lose sight of their child
• Anyone finding a lost, injured or upset child
• A young child, who can look for the nearest orange balloon window sticker and ask a mum to call for help
• An older child or teenager who needs help
• Anyone who is worried about a situation but who feels they cannot get directly involved
• Anyone who need quick access to our centre's security team.
