A welcome return of the German market and Christmas craft market.

The two markets will take the community Christmas tree as their centrepiece and a catering area with seating will be created for shoppers to take some time out before continuing their Christmas shopping.

With 25 stalls setting up three times this month selling a wide variety of local produce, the City Centre Farmers Market is a lively and bustling market to visit. Situated by the Sundial in the heart of the city centre shoppers can source produce that has been reared, grown or made by local farmers.

Visitors to the market can expect to find locally reared ostrich meat, pork, beef, lamb; locally grown strawberries and vegetables, plus locally produced cheeses, chutney, pies and pasties. The market is held in the city centre and is open from 9am to 5pm.

Santa and his reindeer

Frankfort Gate

Due to the popularity of his visit last year we have asked Santa if he would like to visit us again this year. We are pleased that he has agreed to take time out of his busy schedule to bring his reindeer back to Plymouth City Centre. He will arrive at Frankfort Gate and the West End at around 1pm.
