Plymouth Summer Festival
May to September 2008
An exciting calendar of local, national and international events has been unveiled as Plymouth launches its second Summer Festival.

Farmers market
13 September
Sundial
With 25 stalls setting up twice a month selling a wide variety of local produce, the city centre farmers market is a lively and bustling market to visit. Situated by the sundial in the heart of the city centre shoppers can source produce which has been reared, grown or made by local farmers.
Visitors to the market can expect to find locally reared ostrich meat, pork, beef, lamb, locally grown strawberries and vegetables, plus locally produced cheeses, chutney, pies and pasties. The market is held in the city centre on the second Saturday of the month and is open from 9am to 5pm.
