Timetable information

For timetable information on all local bus services in the South West call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33. Traveline is open between 7am and 10pm 364 days a year.

Calls to Traveline from a BT landline costs 10p per minute plus a 6p set-up fee per call. Calls from mobile phones and other network providers' may vary.

Real Time Passenger Information

If you would like to see the ‘real’ time your bus is due to depart please follow the link from our Check that bus page. This is a brand new website which has been designed to provide bus passengers traveling within Plymouth with actual bus journey times for their journey rather than relying on scheduled times. We hope this means that all passengers will be able to make an informed choice about their travel plans and spend less time waiting at bus stops.

The site will enable you to:

• Locate your nearest bus stop
• Find out the time of the next departures from that stop, with the ability to regularly refresh the information on your computer desktop
• Find out the unique code for your bus stop – this will allow you to receive bus departure time text messages on your mobile phone any time you like.

Plymouth area bus map and guide

The Plymouth bus map and guide is jointly produced by the City Council, Plymouth Citybus and First Devon and Cornwall.

The main map shows all bus routes in the Plymouth, Saltash and Torpoint areas, and also includes insets for the Heybrook Bay/Wembury and Yelverton areas.

Bus services are colour coded by operator as follows:

• Red routes are operated by Plymouth Citybus
• Blue routes are operated by First Devon and Cornwall
• Green routes are operated by Target Travel
• Black routes are operated by other companies
