Cemeteries and crematoria
Plymouth City Council is responsible for the management of five cemeteries four closed churchyards and the city's two crematoria.
Staff at the facilities are responsible for:
- arranging over 3000 cremations and burials a year
- dealing with enquiries and answering questions from the public, assisting families in choosing appropriate and personal memorials
- assisting families with family history searches

Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm
Grounds and the book of remembrance
The grounds and the book of remembrances rooms are open to the public 365 days a year
Monday to Friday
9am to 7pm - 1 April to 30 September
9am to 4pm - 1 October to 31 March
Saturday
9am to 5pm - 1 April to 30 September
9am to 4pm - 1 October to 31 March
Sunday and public holidays
9am to 5pm - 1 April to 30 September
9am to 4pm - 1 October to 31 March
