Weston Mill cemetery and crematoria
The cemetery opened in 1904 and the crematoria in 1967. The chapel at Weston Mill is non-denominational and has seating for 70 people. The garden of remembrance dates back to 1949 when it was built by the city engineers department in stone from the municipal buildings destroyed in Plymouth in 1941.
The cemetery at Weston Mill contains one of the largest sections of commonwealth war graves in the south west.
Baby garden
The baby garden area at Weston Mill was established in 1984. Recent improvements were made in 2003 providing families with an area for quiet contemplation and reflection in which they can commemorate their loved ones.
