Plymouth Informed
Plymouth Informed has been developed by Plymouth 2020 Partnership. The main aim of the Plymouth Informed website is to provide easily accessible up to date information about the city, for the public and professional alike.
This will enable Plymouth 2020 Partnership to track the overall progress towards the well-being of the city. It will also enable partners including Plymouth City Council, Plymouth Primary Care Trust, the Police and Community and Voluntary groups to monitor their activities in order to plan and improve the delivery of local services.
Plymouth Informed is also intended to provide an important service for the wider community, the business community and to individuals.
The key features of Plymouth Informed allows users to:
- select statistical indicators (eg health, crime, education, income, employment, census 2001 figures etc). These are shown as maps or tables and can be exported to other applications.
- investigate the provision of local services. These are viewed citywide, or for a smaller area and will show the exact location of services.
- access a directory of strategies and plans which are intended to make an impact on a particular area or subject, so that the relationship between strategies and plans and their progress can be made.
- provide information about news and events within the community.
Plymouth Informed website is funded by:
- Single Regeneration Budget
- Neighbourhood Renewal Fund
- Plymouth Public Health Development Unit
- Plymouth City Council
