Searching the register
Tracing relatives and friends
The current Register of Electors is open to public inspection at the Civic Centre and Plymouth Library Service.
The registers
The registers are not compiled in name order. Each register is broken down into polling areas, with names listed by alphabetical street order.
There is no surname search available.
Old registers
The Electoral Registration Service does not provide an archive service to old registers. Old registers are held at the Plymouth Library Service. You would be well advised to contact the Library Service to enquire as to availability.
The Plymouth Register Office holds records of births, deaths and marriages for the Plymouth area.
