City Strategy

Plymouth’s City Strategy sets out a bold and ambitious vision and long term challenging goals for all those who contribute to life in the city.

This document is Plymouth’s 'Community Strategy' and has been developed by the Plymouth 2020 Partnership - Plymouth’s Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) - and its many partners, including the City Council.

These documents provide us with a strategic framework against which decisions can be taken, services can be improved (especially for those in most need in the city), progress can be monitored and new priority actions for future years can be set.

A dynamic and challenging plan, the City Strategy will take the lead in the delivery of change; pulling together links with issues as wide ranging as the cleanliness of local streets and household incomes, Plymouth’s character and diversity, community and voluntary sector development, entrepreneurship and global warming - to name a few.
