Risk Management plays a key part in the Council's approach to Corporate Governance. The strategy requires that all departments, services, managers and employees take responsibility for the cost effective control and management of risk in all aspects of their activities.

Risk Management Strategy 2007 to 2009 - Risk Management is the process of identifying risks that may threaten delivery of corporate and service objectives, evaluating their potential consequence and determining and implementing the most effective way of controlling and monitoring them.
