Indexes for family history research in Plymouth, Devon and East Cornwall
The Plymouth and West Devon Record Office holds lots of records useful to family historians and genealogists.
The main records we hold are church or parish registers which give details of baptisms or births, marriages and burials from around 1550 to the present day. In conjunction with members of the Devon Family History Society we are indexing these registers and producing CD Roms, printed indexes and computer indexes.
- For details of the indexes and CD Roms that can be viewed or purchased, see the baptism, marriage and burials indexes page.
- For a list of the church and chapel registers we hold see our church registers index page.
