Arts development
Plymouth's Arts Development Unit seeks to support and develop the Arts and to maximize the role they play in Plymouth's social, community and economic life and to raise the city's profile regionally and nationally.
The vision is to develop a strong, outward looking arts and creative industries sector of national excellence that plays an active role in making Plymouth a dynamic, vibrant, world-class creative city.
What's new
The Arts Development Unit and Youth Service are working in collaboration with local design studio Intercity and have commissioned renowned artist James Jarvis to create a piece of large-scale artwork using the Central Park Skateboard Park as a blank canvas.
