Mount Edgcumbe multi-use trail
With over 865 acres of amazing coastal scenery and countrysde, it's hard to believe that Mount Edgcumbe is a mere 10 minutes away from Plymouth by ferry.
You will see herds of wild deer, formal gardens and landscaped woodlands with amazing panoramic views; historic buildings; the National Camellia Collection and over 180 species of trees - there's something here for everyone!
Now exploring the park has never been so easy with the introduction of the multi-use trail. The trail is suitable for cyclists, walkers, horse-riders, buggies and wheelchairs whatever the weather may bring.
Starting from the lower park gates at Cremyll, the trail follows the park road (limited vehicle access), continuing on the hard-surface woodland paths then onwards to the reinforced grass track which circles the Deer Park. The trail can be joined from any of the car parks which lie within or near to the country park where you will find information boards showing the route.
So if you're looking for a change of scenery for all the family, visit Mount Edgcumbe and spend your day exploring all the secrets of the park.
