Plymouth: Port and Place
Opening 2009
It's hard to separate Plymouth from its nautical traditions and this gallery will explore the impact of the sea and geography on the city's development through conflict, trade and exploration.
The story of our city will be enhanced with items such as:
- maps
- photographs
- prints
- paintings
It will also include other objects that illustrate the major stepping stones in Plymouth's history.
This gallery is due to open in 2009 (not late autumn 2008 as previously advertised).
