Funny Side Up video

In October 2009, we held a 'Night of Comedy' to coincide with the National Portrait Gallery exhibition 'Comedians: From the 1940s to Now', which was on display at the time.

In the run up to the event, schools were able to participate in comedy workshops. On the night we ran a competition to give young people a chance to do a stand up routine in front of an audience. The Dynamic Youth Dance Company also performed a Charlie Chaplin-inspired routine, and an Odd Couple set up an installation of knitting in our foyer!

We filmed the event, and have put together a video of what happened on the night.
