Mellis

Hello I’m Mellis. I’m 15 and am (almost) the longest standing member in the group! I have been coming to The Core for nearly two years. I joined after an event called ‘Me, Myself and My Portrait’.

Sam

I'm 14 and am a relatively new member of The Core. My hobbies include playing guitar and keyboard in a prog rock group and socialising with my friends. I come to The Core because museum work interests me and I can meet new people.

Connor

My name is Connor. I’m interested in skateboarding, electric guitar, BMX-ing and reading. I also go to Air Cadets because I want to join the RAF. I joined The Core because I’m interested in the organising of exhibitions.

Raisa

Age 18. I have been a member of The Core for a year and a half. I joined because I have been coming to the Museum since I moved to Plymouth and I have always enjoyed it and The Core seemed like a fun way to get involved. My interests include art and design, music (I really want to play an instrument but I’m to lazy to learn), fashion, history, theatre and natural history.

Charlotte

Age 14. My parents teach me at home. I play the guitar, like walking on the moor and I have a dog called Cat! I’ve been coming to The Core for about a year and a half. I’ve always come to the Museum with my mum.

James

I originally came to the Museum for my work experience and decided to join The Core at that time. Since then I’ve been loads of fantastic experiences and made some very good friends. History is not the only focus of the group. There are also organisational and design opportunities which complement my interests and school work.

Tobias

Hi I’m Tobias and I’m 15. I play the guitar and I’ve been coming to The Core for about 3 months. The people in The Core are random but all cool!
