What is All Children First?

All Children First is Plymouth’s Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership. The first point of contact for All Children First is the Early Years Childcare Development Team, which is part of the Local Education Authority.

What does All Children First do?

All Children First aims to support and plan the development of good quality, inclusive, sustainable childcare places in response to parental demand across Plymouth. The purpose is to offer parents greater choice, availability and flexibility in high standard, affordable childcare and early years education.

All Children First partners

All Children First is made up of a wide range of partners, and supports a range of services. These include:

• Plymouth’s Family Information Service - offers free, friendly, professional and impartial guidance on services and support available to members of all the family, they provide information that is tailored to your family's individual needs, you could receive information on registered childcare and out of school activities, children's centres, jobs in childcare, family support, tax credit help and so much more.
• All Children First Childcare recruitment and training - to support and promote the recruitment of childcare, playwork and early years workers into the sector, and to help facilitate the training of both new and existing workers to a high standard.
• All Children First training centre - providing childcare, early years and playwork training.
• Additional services - include early years advisory teachers, inclusion advisory service, marketing and business support, quality assurance schemes.
