Outdoor education news

Welcome to the news and information page which has been provided to support the work of Educational Visits Coordinators.

This information can be shared as widely as possible with colleagues and adult volunteers who give up their time to support learning with experiences outside of the classroom.

Any comments you may have about what you would like to see in the future or reaction to anything that is included on this page is very welcome and can be emailed to childrens.services@plymouth.gov.uk.

Always have in mind that there are areas where there is a need for a combined view and much of what is produced in the future will be shaped by the contributions you make.

Evolve

Evolve is the system the LA has purchased to enable schools and other council services to record educational visits and activities for approval. The Evolve website has many other benefits that will help with planning. Training will be offered in 2009 to enough staff for them to pass it on to colleagues.
