Education support
Inclusion Strategy 2005 to 2008
Our Inclusion Strategy recognises that children and young people can experience barriers to learning resulting from a wide range of personal or cultural reasons, including race, special educational needs, disability, medical, emotional, social or behavioural needs, gender or sexuality.
We do not make an artificial distinction between educational and social inclusion issues and seek to remove barriers and promote access and opportunity for all those groups at risk of educational and social exclusion.
