The service consists of the following teams, (use the relevant links below for more information on the respective team):
- Early Years Inclusion Service (Portage, Inclusion Advisory Service and Early Support)
- Advisory Team for Sensory Support
- Communication Interaction Team including Early Years (CITEY)
- Children’s Disability Social Care Team (Social Work, Transitions Team and Lead Professional)
- Children’s Disability Occupational Therapy Team
- Special Services
Plymouth City Council, Plymouth NHS Hospitals Trust and Plymouth Primary Care Trust have worked together to improve co-ordination in the way that professionals work together with families to support children.
As a result, the Children’s Integrated Disability Service, working with teams at the Child Development Centre, provide a Single Point of Contact (SPOC).
The Single Point of Contact provides the main route of access to multi-agency services within Children’s Integrated Disability Service.
