Support for students with communication and interaction needs

What is the Communication Interaction Team?

Our aim is to support children and young people with communication and interaction needs, their parents and teachers. This includes children on the autism spectrum and those with language and communication needs.

We are a team of Teachers, Specialist Support Workers and a Speech and Language Therapist who work closely with young people, schools, parents, Educational Psychologists and a range of other professionals.

The team is divided into three sub teams:

• Communication Interaction Team (Social Communication Needs / Autism)
• Communication Interaction Team (Language Needs)
• Communication Interaction Team Early Years
