Parent governor representatives
Parent governor representatives are parent governors elected by other parent governors to provide a voice for all parents in their areas in local decision-making.
Since 2003 local authorities have provided places (with speaking and voting rights) for parent governor representatives on their main committees and sub committees dealing with education matters.
Their term of office is not less than 2 years but no more than 4 years.
The current parent governor representatives on the scrutiny panel are:
- Kevin Willis - Yealmpstone Farm Primary School
