In year school admissions parents guide

All in-year applications for school places for the 2011 to 2012 academic year must be submitted to the Local Authority in whose area the applicant lives.

The Local Authority will deal with your request and contact own admission authority schools on your behalf (an own admission authority school is a school that sets its own admission criteria). Schools can no longer offer a place to your child directly. You must inform your Local Authority if any school (other than a private school or a special school) offers you a place directly.

If you pay your council tax to Plymouth City Council, then you live in the Plymouth Local Authority area and should apply to Plymouth City Council for a school place.

Supplementary information forms help a school to rank your in-year application against their admission criteria but they are not application forms. You should complete the Local Authority's online in-year admission application form or download a form from the documents page.
