CIEH Level 2 Award Health and Safety in the Workplace

All people have a vital role to play in the health and safety of their workplace. The right knowledge and attitude helps ensure that safe systems and methods of working are practised. This course provides an introduction to both employees and employers on health and safety issues and how to reduce risks in the workplace. This new course replaces Foundation Health and Safety.

The topics covered during the course include:

• legislation
• health, safety and welfare
• the workplace and equipment
• risk assessment
• manual handling
• hazardous substances
• transport and vehicles
• noise and vibration

Assessment method

• 30 questions multiple choice exam at the end of the course

Duration and cost

• One full day, or two half days during daytime or in the evening
• £50
