CIEH Level 2 Award Healthier Foods and Special Diets
Healthy eating and nutrition has become high on the agenda these days. This course will enable candidates to understand the requirements of a balanced diet and promote awareness of allergies when catering for others. The relationship between nutrition, diet and health will be examined.
This course is useful for caterers who wish to review their menu to ensure it appeals to customers who want the choice of a healthy, balanced meal and is particularly beneficial for those who cater for special diets such as for young children or the elderly. It is also useful for anyone who would like an introduction to nutrition.
