CIEH Level 2 Award Hygiene in Health and Social Care

This course will provide candidates with training to help prevent the spread of healthcare acquired infections by covering good hygiene practice, cleaning standards and the hazards associated with poor hygiene. It is aimed at carers, cleaners and other support staff working in hospitals, nursing and residential homes, prisons, schools and those caring for people in their own home. This is a half day course that will count towards part of the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in Health and Social Care.

• personal hygiene
• cleaning and hygiene standards
