Plymouth's Green Infrastructure (GI) Delivery Plan
The Plymouth Green Infrastructure (GI) Delivery Plan provides an agreed understanding of the aspirations and priorities for a network of strategic green and blue space projects within and around the city. The Delivery Plan pulls together the strategically important projects that will deliver the aspiration for a coordinated and sustainable green infrastructure network. You can view the plan below:
The plan sets out the strategic interventions required to deliver sustainable growth. It includes site specific projects, including new and improved parks, theme projects which covers, flood reduction, fuel and food production, active lifestyles, biodiversity and landscape connections and sustainable transport, and mechanisms for delivering the plan.
One of these projects, the Saltram Countryside Park, is the first to be started and is currently in the master planning stage. For more information on the Saltram Countryside Park Master Plan, visit the Saltram Master Plan page.
