1APP forms
The national standard planning application form (1APP) is the only legal way of submitting a planning application.
You can submit your application electronically through the Planning Portal. 1APP forms are also available to print from the documents table below or in paper format, available from the Civic Centre.
Planning applicants and agents should be aware that the information they provide in their application form, plus any accompanying drawings and documents, will be made available to the public at the planning reception desk, ground floor, civic centre and on the planning applications page.
Registration of application
Before your application can be registered and considered it may be necessary for you to provide drawings and information in addition to the correct application form and fee. You can find full information on the requirements of an application submission from our local validation list page.
Fees for applications
If you make your application on the Planning Portal you can pay online using a credit/debit card, or over the phone by calling 01752 304366. Alternatively you can send us a cheque, made payable to Plymouth City Council.
