1APP forms
The national standard planning application form (1APP) has replaced all existing types of planning application forms in England and has become the only legal way of submitting a planning application.
Previously, local planning authorities (LPAs) produced their own planning application forms. These often differed, creating inconsistencies in the planning process. 1APP will remove the differences in application forms by ensuring the same information will be required for comparable applications by every LPA in England.
We implemented the 1APP forms on 1 March 2008 and will not be able to accept old planning application forms after 5 April 2008 (any old forms received after this date will be deemed invalid).
1APP forms are available below or in paper format from the civic centre. As with previous forms you will still be able to submit your application electronically via the Planning Portal.
Planning applicants and agents should be aware that the information they provide in their application form, plus any accompanying drawings and documents, will be made available to the public at the planning reception desk, ground floor, civic centre and via this website.
Fees for applications
Cheques for fees need to be made payable to Plymouth City Council
