Area Action Plans (AAP)

Area Action Plans (AAPs) provide the planning framework for areas where significant change or conservation is needed.

They are central to the delivery of Plymouth’s Local Development Framework in that they set out the policies and proposals that direct development in the city’s waterfront regeneration areas as well as in the major opportunity sites located along Plymouth’s Eastern and Northern Corridors.

Area Action Plans are being produced for:

• Devonport
• Millbay/Stonehouse
• Derriford/Seaton
• Central Park
• City Centre/University
• East End/Eastern Gateway
• The Hoe
• Sutton Harbour
