Issues and Preferred Options

We produced the City Centre and University Area Action Plan Issues and Preferred Options Consultation document as part of Plymouth's Local Development Framework. It builds on the earlier issues and options consultation stage (Spring 2005).

As part of the Issues and Preferred Options stage we held a six week consultation period from the 3 November until 15 December 2008. All of the comments received from this consultation period can be viewed online via the online consultation portal. We have also produced a summary report of all the comments made during the consultation period which can be downloaded from the documents table below.

We would like to provide another opportunity for you to put forward your thoughts about the City Centre and University area. We have produced a newsletter which contains the latest update on the City Centre. You can download the newsletter from the documents table below.

We are keen to hear your comments on the City Centre newsletter and your thoughts on the City Centre. To make your comments and view other comments made please go to the online consultation portal.

A 'virtual fly-through' of what Plymouth city centre could look like in the future has been prepared for the Coucil and can be viewed on the city centre fly-through video page.

Evidence Base

In preparing Plymouth's development framework there are a number of studies that have been undertaken that provide the Local Development Framework evidence base. The following documents form the evidence base for the City Centre and University Area Action Plan:
