Annual monitoring report
The Annual Monitoring Report monitors the city’s progress on the targets and objectives set out in the Local Development Framework (LDF). It looks at the facts and figures that help to understand what is happening in the city. This includes:
- housing
- employment
- population figures
The report also monitors our progress with the Local Development Scheme (LDS). The LDS explains what local development documents are going to be produced, by whom and when, with key dates from initial preparation to adoption.
Significant changes to the national planning system which focus on localism and delivering growth came into force in November 2011. Our Local Development Framework puts us in a strong position to take advantage of the opportunities this presents.
Previously the Annual Monitoring Report was produced as a document once a year, however the report is now presented online and we now update information regularly as it becomes available.
If you need to view information which has not yet been collected and released, our Annual Monitoring Reports from previous years are still available.
