The Public Examination
An independent planning inspector will examine the plan to see if it has been written and developed in the proper way, ie whether it is sound. All comments made during the 6 week consultation period will be considered by the inspector, and a public examination will be held on 6 and 7 February 2008. The representations received during the consultation period are detailed in the document below.
The timetable for the public examination can be found below. The inspector has issued a guidance note for those appearing at the examination and there is a further note, following the pre examination meeting that was held on 14 November 2007. Both of these are also listed below.
Those appearing at the examination have been asked to submit any further statements by 21 December 2007. The Council’s statements must be submitted by 15 January 2008. These documents will be listed below when they become available.
