The People of Plymouth Award Winners 2010 to 2011
Plymouth is a city that never stops for long - and that goes for its constantly evolving buildings too.
Despite the economic downturn, new structures are still going up across the city, and buildings are constantly being converted to new uses.
The Herald wanted to celebrate this by hosting the Abercrombie Awards for the city's best buildings alongside our own business awards.
The categories in this year's Abercrombie Awards included best new building, best conversion, best public space, best community project, best sustainable building, best minor development and the overall winner - the Abercrombie Award. Alongside these awards, which were chosen from a selection of nominations by a panel of expert judges, one of the stars of the competition is the People of Plymouth Award - the building, conservation project or public space which was chosen by you, the people of Plymouth.
The awards were very successful and we would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote. The list of winners can be viewed in the document below.
