Recycle your trade waste
With the ever increasing problem of landfill waste and the escalating costs involved, we have introduced a trade waste recycling service to businesses throughout the city.
As part of the trade waste service, we are now able to collect all general recycling material such as paper, (including shredded paper), cardboard, plastic bottles, tin cans and aluminium cans from businesses, helping them reduce their costs and the amount of waste they generate which goes into landfill.
We are committed to helping businesses reduce the amount of waste they put into landfill by offering a flexible recycling service with weekly, fortnightly or even monthly collections, with a choice of bin sizes to suit their work site and budget.
Reducing waste at work
If your company is not yet recycling, then it is needlessly damaging the environment and wasting money.
By ensuring your company follows a few simple steps, you will be able to reduce the amount of waste you produce and save money too.
Promote recycling at work by:
- identifying areas for waste reduction
- supporting re-use, take back and refurbishment schemes
- identifying all non-hazardous wastes that can be recycled and implementing a recycling scheme
- encouraging your employees to reduce, re-use and recycle both at work and at home
- buying recycled products
If you are interested in signing up to the recycling scheme, or would like more information about trade waste and trade recycling, please contact us and one of the trade team will be able to help.
