Recycling household batteries
You can recycle batteries anywhere you see the 'Be Positive' sign.
There are seven retailers in Plymouth where you can recycle batteries:
- Beacon Electrical
- City College Plymouth
- Lawsons
- Totem Timber
- Select Appliances
- European Metal Recyclers
- Morrison's Supermarket at Plymstock
You can also take your batteries along to our recycling centres at Chelson Meadow and Weston Mill.

We can't recycle batteries through our normal kerbside recycling collections because our recycling facility is not set up to separate them.
