Qualified Children’s Social Workers
Plus: Team Managers, Senior Practitioners and Independent Reviewing Officers
Social Worker salary circa £30,000 (subject to pay and grading review)

If you have a Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, Certificate of Qualification in Social Work, Certificate in Social Services or equivalent) and are interested in joining the Children’s Services Department, we want to hear from you.

A relocation package is available for all posts. However, as part of a pilot, up to £8000 is available for Social Workers and Senior Practitioners on production of receipted accounts. Pilot during 2008 may be subject to change.
We are also willing to discuss a variety of options in terms of flexible working, including fixed term contracts and there is also the potential for extended and/or special leave, as per Local Terms and Conditions of Employment.
We have a rolling programme for shortlisting and interviewing directly related to this advertisement. Shortlisting takes place on the second Tuesday of every month and interviews on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
During the course of the year, there are likely to be a number of Team Manager, Senior Practitioner and Independent Reviewing Officer vacancies.
