Make a reading promise for the Year of Reading.
We've put together some suggestions or you can make up your own.

Our suggestions
- Read at least 6 books
- Share a book with a member of my family, friend or teacher
- Read to my child at least once a week
- Talk about books with someone else at least once a month
- Read a newspaper or magazine at least once a week
- Get help with my reading
- Give a book as a gift to a relative or friend
- Read a book by an author I’ve never heard of before
- Join a reading group
- Join a library
- Donate a book to charity
- Leave a book in a public place for someone else to read
- Write a book review for my local library or school
