DVDs can be borrowed from the Central Library and several Community Libraries, and requested free of charge if in stock or on loan, from any of our libraries. Unless you are entitled to a concession, there is a weekly hire charge, payable in advance:

• Premium DVDs : £2.50 for up to three days, then £1p per day, up to a maximum of £15
• Leisure DVDs : £2 for up to one week, then 50p per day, up to a maximum of £13
• Value DVDs : £1 for up to one week, then 50p per day, up to a maximum of £13
• Short DVDs : 70p per week, then 15p per day, up to a maximum of £4

Within the first six weeks of your membership of the library, the loan of a DVD requires the purchase of a discount voucher. With a discount voucher, which costs £14 (£12 with a Plymcard), you will be entitled to borrow up to 40 items at up to 50% off the normal charge. After your initial six week membership period, you can choose to either purchase further discount vouchers or pay the normal charges.

To borrow films in any format, you must be at least 16 years of age and either a full or temporary member of the library.
