Guided walks on the Hoe
Do you fancy a bit of fresh air, taking in some good views with a bit of local history thrown in, all for free?
The Community Liaison Officer has arranged guided walks on the Hoe over the summer months.
They will start at Smeaton's Tower and will take approximately 1 to 1½ hours. The route is relaxed and will finish wherever walkers wish to leave the tour. The Community Liaison Officer will be pointing out sites of local historic interest along the way, as you amble on through the centuries of Plymouth Hoe's colourful and varied maritime past.
The walks are free and suitable for all abilities.
Booking is essential. Telephone 01752 606034 or email parks.services@plymouth.gov.uk to reserve your place. The numbers for these walks are restricted so please book early, so as not to be disappointed.
The dates of these walks are:
- Thursday 31 July at 10.30am
- Tuesday 19 August at 1.30pm
We look forward to seeing you there!
