Have your say on our parks and green spaces

Is your local park brilliant or boring? Is it safe and secure or a no-go area?

We are actively encouraging you to have your say in how the city’s parks and open spaces are managed.

A survey has been set up through the charity Green Space, which is part-funded by CABE Space, the Government’s advisor on good quality, well designed public and green spaces.

Through the survey, our parks services department hopes to find out how happy people are with the services it provides, which parks they use, how often and what improvements they would like to see. The information gathered will be used in developing our green space strategy, shaping how Plymouth’s parks and open spaces are managed and also in bidding for relevant funding.

We are trying to find out how often people visit different types of parks and green spaces in the city, how easy it is to access these areas, what people do when they are there and what would make them visit more. More than 150 local parks and green spaces are listed in the survey.

If you would like to have a say in how you would like to see the city’s parks and open spaces managed please visit greenSTAT and follow the links to Plymouth City Council’s section of the website. Alternatively go straight to the secure online questionnaire.

You can also download the questionnaire from the documents table below or contact Parks Services.
